I took this photo about two thirds the way up the pass. What an exhilarating and spectacular ride. You must visit the factory and do this ride one day. I weigh 180lbs and we put an extra 145lbs in ballast on board. When we arrived at the base deep in the valley I thought if we got 200 yards up this mountain we would doing be better than any scooter I had ridden before. Its that steep. The photo does not give a true indication of how steep it really is. I hit full throttle at the bottom of the valley marked in red and the Tycoon went straight to the top in 30 minutes at an average speed of almost 8 mph !! We loaded the Tycoon into the van, took it to the bottom and did it again 15 minutes later. Nothing overheated, nothing stopped, nothing broke. Perfection. Up till now performance as an average of performance if a large scooter did 1.5 amps/ kph/ hour this was good. That is to say a large scooter doing 8 mph on flat ground is using 22 amps per Hour. Many scooters are far worse than this. The latest Tycoon has set a new record of .5amps/kph/hour. To carry the same load at 8mph the Tycoon is using 8 amps per Hour.
